Mini roses planted outdoors may do well in the summer but can be a challenge to keep alive during the winter months. You may want to keep them in a pot and move indoors in the fall. A sunny windowsill is recommended where the plants can absorb more winter light. Like all roses, the mini-roses can be attacked by disease. And, this will happen even if grown indoors.
