Marianne's Response
Wilting roses
I planted a rose root about a month ago. Leaves emerged quickly and were growing, but now the leaves are wilting badly.

Marianne's Response
The sudden wilting of new leaves can be caused by the plant roots drying out, sometimes from a mole or other rodent undermining the new roots. Keep the soil moist and wait to see if the plant recovers. Do not fertilize at this time. Best wishes for a recovery of your struggling rose. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
