mdumaine’s Question
Hi Marianne,
I live in Auburn WA and recently brought home some cuttings of Callistemon Bottle brush. I put them in a bottle of water and not sure how to get them to root. I noticed they are a zone 8B. What things can I do so it survives the winter?
Thank you

The bottle brush is a plant for hot dry areas. I do not think you can overwinter it in the NW region. Perhaps if you keep it in a container, don't water much during the winter and protect from freezing in a greenhouse it would survive. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
