Mushrooms growing in garden soil
I removed mushrooms from a planting area last year. I just went to plant tomatoes in the same area. There is evidence of mushroom compost in the soil. Is it safe to plant the tomatoes for eating?

No worries - mushroom compost is safe for growing vegetables and if mushrooms were growing in your soil that means you have damp soil. You may want to improve the drainage with some organic matter such as shredded leaves this coming fall. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
