Osmocote on flowers and shrubs

I have several types of flowers and shrubs including Japanese maples, azaleas, western cedar, Alberta spruce, several perennials (including roses), and bedding plants. Are there specific plants that Osmocote should not be used on?

Don't worry, Osmocote is safe to use on all your plants but most trees and shrubs do not need any additional fertilizer is they are established and growing well. Roses and perennials that flower respond well to Osmocote by giving you more blooms, but spruce, maples, cedar and other trees and shrubs do not normally need fertilizing. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
