Eggplants like lots of water even though they love the heat and must have full sun. If the night temp is too cool (below 60 degrees) or the plants dry out the blossoms will fall off. They do not need a pollinator plant. Don't give up. Water at least one inch a week but giving them one and one half inch a week is even better. You may still get a harvest from the plants that dropped blossoms if you continue to water and fertilize. Eggplants like lots of fertilizer so add some slow release plant food such as Osmocote around the base of your eggplants to keep them well fed all summer. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
