How to prune digiplexis plants
I have several digiplexis plants. They have lots of dead leaves at the base. I see new growth coming from the base of the plant so I assume removing the dead leaves is recommended for future growth. I also want to know where I cut to remove the old flower stalks. Do I cut at the base of the stock where it meets the stem or where there a new leaves and no old flowering areas? Thank you.

Marianne's Response
I grew this new type of foxglove last summer and I found that removing the dead leaves at the base kept the plant tidy - just be careful not to damage the new side shoots that will sprout. Cut the old flower stalks off at the base of the stock. Get ready to enjoy a second flush of flowers. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
