Vines that bloomed one year and not the next are often nipped by a late or early frost. The buds are damaged but not the foliage. If your vine is sending out new growth but just no flowers perhaps it was cold damaged. Another reason for no blooms could be too much shade or lack of fertilizer. Sprinkle a slow release flower and garden food such as Osmocote around the base of the plant and you may see plenty of blooms later this summer. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
