Slug-killing spray
In the Tacoma paper on Wednesday, June 18th, you gave the instructions of 1/3 ammonia and 1/3 water put into a spray bottle for slug-killing spray. Is there another 1/3 of something, or is it a 50/50 solution?

So sorry for that typo in the newspaper. It should say 1/3 ammonia and 2/3 water. But if you mix it 50-50 it will kill the slugs even faster! The stronger ammonia concentration could burn the foliage of tender plants, however, so it is best to dilute it with 2/3 water. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
