What are coffee grounds good for in the garden?

Coffee grounds are good organic matter for the soil helping it to retain moisture and nutrients. They also make the soil more acid helping rhododendrons, azaleas and other acid-loving plants stay green and healthy. Spread a thin layer less than one inch deep at the base of plants and work into the soil or add to a compost pile. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
