I live in Auburn Wa and am looking for a tree. I need something that would be good in part sun and only gets about ten feet tall. Any suggestions?

How about a grafted Japanese maple? There are many types and as a grafted tree you could be sure it would not get too large. Another small tree for the shade is the Silver Bell Tree or Styrax japonca. Fall is a good time to add trees and shrubs to the landscape. Dig in! Marianne Binetti
