I read somewhere you mentioned about cutting Horsetail and morning glory off three times in a row and they will quit remembering to grow again..can you repeat this rules..someone said Casoron and I do not like it. Thank you …I love all your columns

You are right! You can starve out the roots of morning glory and horsetail by cutting the tops off at ground level - then repeat three times so that the top growth never gets a chance to make food for the roots. Not as easy as a spray, but with persistence you can corral that horsetail and shrivel the morning glory. Keep growing - but not those weeds, Marianne Binetti
