Marianne's Response
I recommend you plant lots of things in the spring! Depending on where you live and what your interests are spring is for planting lawns, trees, shrubs, perennials, cool season annuals and vegetables such as leafy lettuce, peas and cabbage that like cool weather. Wait until the weather warms to plant heat loving crops such as tomatoes, peppers, squash and eggplant. Lilies, dahlias and glads are summer blooming bulbs that can go into the ground in the spring.
