How to plant a special plant.

Can you plant in Auburn, IN the plant called, Batface Cathea? I love that it attracts butterflies and humming birds.Humming birds are my favorite.

I think you mean Bat Face cuphea and this heat and drought tolerant evergreen is hard to 25 degrees so it may survive a mild winter in your area. It really prefers a warmer climate. In your area the salvias, hardy fuchsias and angel wing begonias would do better and are also humming bird magnets as well as many other colorful annuals and perennials. Thanks for thinking about the humming birds another pollinators. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
