Rose cuttings

My rose cuttings have just rooted and are now blooming is it ok to leave the blooms on the plant or do i need to cut them off

I know this is hard to hear but it is best for the young rose cutting if you cut off the flowers and buds so the plant can concentrate on growing more roots. You'll be glad you did next year when the new plant is sturdy and healthy. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
