You can try to make a new plant from any section of broken plant by making a cutting. Remove the  leaves from the bottom third of the cutting and insert the cut end into a mix of half potting soil and half sand that you have in a pot. Cover the pot with a clear plastic bag punched with air holes and propped with sticks to the plastic does not rest on the plant itself. The bag is to keep the air around the cutting humid. You can also mist the plant several times a day. Keep the soil moist and in a few months roots will form on the cutting and you will have a new plant. Some plants are so easy to root you can just place the cut end into a glass of water and look for roots to form in a few weeks. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
