Yes, there is hope for a plant that is wilting. The lack of roots means your plant will need to rest while new roots grow. To help it survive place out of bright sunlight and keep the soil moist but not wet. Mist the foliage daily. Do not fertilize. As leaves turn brown or yellow cut them off.
