Bottom watering
I use Osmocote for indoor gardening, growing summer flowers under lights in winter. I prefer to bottom water, but will the fertilizer still release if I don’t top water?

As long as the soil becomes moist and the soil temp is warm enough the fertilizer will be released. Bottom watering indoors will still work. Enjoy those winter bloomers - send us a photo this winter so we can all warm up with the power of flowers. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
