Blueberry bushes found in thick brush,they must of been from main plants
Cleared heavy brush away from discovered blueberrys plants.They are almost as tall as I am and some have small blueberries on.Is it too late to add fertilizer to soil? I live in Cville SC.Thank you

Yes. Fertilize blueberries in early spring with a fertilizer for acid loving plants. Then you won't risk encouraging too much late new growth that could be damaged in winter. Congrats on your berry discovery. Give those blueberry shrubs extra water this summer and I can see plenty of blueberry pies in your future. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
