Best white hydrangea for PNW

I heard you speak at windmill Gardens and you talked about the best white hydrangea for the Pacific Northwest. I’m looking for the name. I’m going to plant this in some afternoon sun.

I do love hydrangeas and if you are going to add one to a sunny spot then use a Pee Gee hydrangea or Hydrangea Paniculata. These have pointy blooms that start out white then turn cream and pink and finally rust. A good dwarf variety is called" Bobo" but new Pee Gee hydrangeas are being introduced all the time as another one is called "Pinky Winky" and is pink more quickly and is also a larger bush. Pee Gee hydrangeas can also be trained to have a single trunk and be grown as small trees. Place an order at your local nursery in the fall and they should be able to order you a specific variety of any tree or shrub for spring planting.  Enjoy and keep growing, Marianne Binetti
