Marianne's Response

There are several reasons why a perennial will fail to flower. Old age, drought or too wet, but most common is too much high nitrogen plant food so plant makes foliage over flowers. This happens most often when high nitrogen lawn food falls near the plant. The good news is your catnip may outgrow the extra nitrogen and flower later in the summer. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
