Thrips on anthurium clarinervium

Hi!
I just found thrips (I think) on the pot of anthurium clarinervium, after treating the plant by spraying it with a solution of neem oil, liquid soap and water. Can I treat the soil with the same solution as well? I also heard of treating the soil with a solution made of water and peroxide, but haven’t tried it yet. Do you know if it works?
Thank you for your help ^_^

I do not know if peroxide in the soil would kill the thrips without harming your plant but I do think you did the right thing by using Neem oil on those thrips. Warm weather seems to make these insects multiply so the good news is once the weather cools you should see less of a problem. Keep treating the plant every few weeks as new eggs will hatch.
