Are you asking about growing potatoes in a commercial grow bag? Or do you have a burlap sack? So sorry I need some more information. In general you plant potatoes from special seed potatoes that you buy from a nursery in early spring around March. They like average soil but they do not like fresh manure. You can grow them in potting soil if you have a big sack. You might also buy bags of soil sold for raised beds. Fall is not the usual time for planting potatoes. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
