How much fertilizer to use on potted satsuma

I have a satsuma potted in a 20 inch diameter container and was wondering how much of the Osmocote 14-14-14 fertilizer I should use. It says to use a capful for 2 ft of branch spread and have read on other post that half the amount should be used on potted plants. I purchased it in 2019 with fruit on it and then in 2020 there was no fruit but a lot of branch and foliage growth. This tree stays indoors during winter and outdoors during summer. Small growth is starting to appear so I thought it would be the best time to start fertilizing as the last one was done in August/September.

I recommend you follow the package dosage instructions for a potted fruit bearing plant and a good time to fertilize your potted plants is in the spring. The Osmocote slow release plant food will be released as the plant needs it. As the soil warms and the plant grows faster more fertilizer will be released. Get ready for a most productive season of fruit. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
