Should I keep it

I have several bulbs of Amaryllis that I dug up from my daughters yard. Three of the four are growing stalks with flower bulbs on the end, the 4th one is not doing much of anything. The bulb wasn’t very big when I planted it, should i just leave it alone and see if in a couple of years it will develop into anything, or should I just chuck it now?

Keep it! Small bulbs are often just immature offsets from a larger mother bulb and in a few years it could reward you with beautiful blooms. Gardening is all about patience and you will appreciate that baby bulb all grown up and blooming away more than buying a plant already in flower. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
