Amount of Osmocote Smart release
Hello Maryann, First time grower and I’m planting heirloom lettuce (cut and come back) inside with a grow light. Directions on the Osmocote Smart release (14-14-14) has amounts for tomatoes, onions, carrots etc. What would be your recommended amount of food for my lettuce? Thank you for your help.

Welcome to gardening! Yes, you can use the same amount for your lettuce as recommended for other crops and keep in mind that when using Osmocote you are less likely to make a fertilizing mistake. The product is very forgiving as it releases fertilizer only as the plants need it. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
