Can I grow ginger from a piece of root that has sprouted?

Yes you can and congrats on your green thumb. Just pot up that sprouting root using a fast draining potting soil, some Osmocote and place in a sunny window. Do not let the soil dry out. You will now have a new houseplant. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
