Marianne's Response
Year round flowers
In full sun, would like a plant that flowers and
looks good all year round. Roses do not look good in the winter when there are only brown branches.
Willing to go with flowering ground cover with
some flowering plants interspersed. Thank you

Marianne's Response
You did not mention your climate or where you live but in my area zone 7 or 8 I would suggest snowdrop bulbs for winter color, an evergreen Pieris japonica for spring blooms and annual flowers such as petunias and geraniums for summer color. A good perennial for fall color is Sedum Autumn Joy. Sorry to say that no plant will flower all year unless it is plastic. Plants need a dormant or resting period so mixing plants with different bloom times is the best way to get year round color in a space. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
