Marianne's Response
What a beautiful caterpillar. This is sometimes called a horn worm and they will devour the leaves of many plants. The good news is as fall comes they turn into cocoons that then become butterflies or moths. They are easy to control on your pepper plants by just handpicking and dropping into a bucket of soapy water. Sometimes the local birds will also arrive to feast on the caterpillars. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
