Trimming sedge grasses
We have 9 huge Carex EverColor Everest Sedges. They have been in the ground for about 4 years. Over the years they are looking a little shabby. Next spring I plan on trimming them. I’ve done some reading on how to and how much to trim off but the one thing I can’t find is how long it will take for the grass to grow back. Can you share any information with me?
I look forward to your answer as I plan future landscape clean up.
Thank you,

The answer depends on when you make the cut and how fertile your soil but a general rule of green thumb would be if you cut in March, they will look good by May. Let us know how it goes, Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
