Mint will thrive in wet soil but it will also take over your entire garden. I suggest you add some compost and topsoil and raise the level of the soil at least a couple of inches. Then you can plant leafy crops like lettuce, cabbage, kale and spinach. Good drainage is key for most edibles. If you like blueberries, they can adapt to wet and boggy conditions and will not need to be replanted each year. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
