Best colorful flowers recommendation?
This is really two questions. First what is the best colorful flowers that grow no taller than about 18 inches for zones 9b and 10a. Second is the same question without height restrictions.

I think I need more information about your climate. Are you using the USDA climate map zones or the Sunset Western Garden book? If you live in a very warm climate like Southern California then my vote for low growing color is Lantana. Also ice plant. Without thinking about height I would still say lantana but also geraniums and petunias. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
