Bindweed and carbon monoxide
I live in southern Colorado. Something happened to the bindweed this month when a pest control company put carbon monoxide into pocket gopher holes to get rid of the pocket gophers. After he did this, I noticed that the bindweed in my lawn all turned brown. Does carbon monoxide deep into the soil kill bindweed???? Or do you think this was just coincidental???

I am baffled. I have never heard of this happening before but I admit I am no expert on using carbon monoxide to kill pocket gophers. I can only think that you are happy with the results if bindweed was invading the lawn. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
