Spring Has Sprung Photo Contest 2023

It’s time again to share in the miracle that is spring. Help to celebrate nature’s rebirth in your community by posting your gardening photos in PlantersPlace.com’s ‘Spring Has Sprung Photo Contest 2023’. The contest begins at 8:00 AM, May 9th and ends at 11:59 p.m., EST, June 4th.
Ideas for photos include blossoms, leaves, fresh produce, small animals, butterflies, insects, and birds. Images of forests, streams, trails, lakes, and grasslands are also welcome. Preference will be given to photos in ‘Landscape’ as opposed to ‘Portrait’ format (read more on formats). For reasons of privacy, avoid submitting photos with images of individuals, even relatives.
Twenty especially noteworthy photos will be selected by the combined PlantersPlace staff. A grand prize winner will be chosen from among the twenty photos. The grand prize winner will receive a $100 Amazon e-gift card while the other nineteen winners will receive $25 Amazon e-gift cards.
Photos from the contest will appear in the ‘Member Photo of the Day’ widget on the PlantersPlace Home Page. Winning photos may also appear as headers on the various PlantersPlace landing pages.
Photo submissions should be accompanied by a title. We recommend assigning titles that provide information about the name of the plant or plants depicted in the image. Avoid using titles such as ‘Pretty in Pink.’ Such titles, while descriptive, cannot be categorized by subject in the site’s photo library. If you do not know the name of the plant in your photo, use the ‘What Plant Is This’ plantID tool on the website’s Main Page. Submissions without titles will not be considered by the judging panel and will not be eligible for a prize.
Photos remain the property of the entrant. However, submission of a photo grants an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, but non-exclusive license to Bloomington Brands, the owner of the PlantersPlace.com website, to reproduce and display the photo in connection with its advertising and promotional activities.
Registered PlantersPlace members should first login, and then having done so, can click the ‘Submit Your Photo’ button below.
