Leaves fell off…

My Lemon Lace elderberry was so nice all summer then last week as shown it looked weepy, and the next day all the leaves fell off. What could have happened????

Growing potted marigolds

I had great success with potted marigolds this year. I also admired family in Europe ( Cyprus ) that there marigolds bloom year after year outside with out any special treatment. I know they reseed themselves but if I bring the pots indoors for the harsh northeast winters, will they bloom again next year?

I use Osmocote for indoor gardening, growing summer flowers under lights in winter. I prefer to bottom water, but will the fertilizer still release if I don't top water?

morning glory question

Hi, We have morning glories planted and growing very well on an arbor. During the day (full sun until about 2:00) the leaves wilt. But, they bounce back once the sun gets behind the trees and as the sun sets. Is this normal? Thanks, Mike

I have some Spirea bushes that are being transplanted and want to trim them back a little - not a complete "down to the bones type trimming" - ok to trim now or wait till spring? I'm also thinking about getting some good potting soil to mix in with my current soil - ok?
