Indoor Plant Photo Contest 2021
If you are a Proud Plant Parent now’s the time to share the beauty of your indoor plants and the interesting and creative containers in which they are growing.

PlantersPlace.com together with its partner, Osmocote® PotShots™, announce the first-ever Indoor Plant Photo Contest. The contest begins at 8:00 AM, January 7th and ends at 11:59 p.m., EDT, February 7th.
Photos are suggested that show the warmth and decorative beauty that house plants bring to your indoor space. Photos of indoor edible plants, with or without produce, are also welcome. Preference will be given to photos in ‘Landscape’ as opposed to ‘Portrait’ format (read more on formats). For reasons of privacy, avoid submitting photos with images of individuals.
Twenty especially noteworthy photos will be selected by the combined PlantersPlace and Osmocote PotShots staff. A grand prize winner will be chosen from among the twenty photos. The grand prize winner will receive a $100 Amazon E-gift Card while the other nineteen winners will receive a $25 Amazon E-gift Card.
Photos from the contest will appear in the ‘Member Photo of the Day’ widget on the PlantersPlace Home Page. Winning photos may also appear as headers on the various PlantersPlace landing pages. Prize-winning photos will be featured as ‘cover’ photos on Osmocote’s Facebook page and in posts on Osmocote’s Instagram page.
Photo submissions should be accompanied by a title. The best titles provide information about the name of the plant and container depicted in the image. Avoid using titles such as ‘Pretty in Pink.’ Such titles, while descriptive, cannot be categorized by subject in the site’s photo library. Submissions without titles will not be considered by the judging panel and will not be eligible for a prize.
While photos remain the property of the entrant, submission of a photo grants an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to Bloomington Brands, the owner of the PlantersPlace.com website, and its sponsor, Osmocote® Plant Food, to reproduce and display the photo in connection with their advertising and promotional activities
Participants need to register at PlantersPlace in order to submit a photo if not already a member. Registration is simple. The steps for registering and / or uploading a photo are explained below.
