5Foxiehoxie2’s Question
I live in Houston, TX. We want to plant perrennials on the East and West sides of our home. Any suggestions as to what we can plant? We get lots of sun on both sides of the home. Thanks.

In hot and sunny areas perennials with thick leaves such as sedums and succulents or gray foliage such as artemesias and lavenders and rudbeckias that can handle the heat are best. For more plants that do well in your specific region your local nursery or county Extension agent will be a better advisor. Join a garden club in your area for the best local advice.
