Hyacinth bulbs are too small for first year flowers

I planted my hyacinth bulbs and they grew but it’s not flowering even though it has many leaves. The leaves look like they are in stress but I don’t know why. They get full sun, soil is good with fertilizer and epsom plant toner and a sprinkle of grub ex for safety.

I suspect the bulbs you planted were to small to flower the first year. The green leaves on these bulbs turn yellow this time of year as they decline and get ready for flowers next year. Leave the foliage to ripen and die and I think you will have blooms next spring. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
