Yes! Your plants will take what they need in nutrients and as long as you follow the dosage on the label and do not overfeed your plants will be happy with slow release Osmocote. I do want to remind you that mature, full grown trees and shrubs that are thriving and growing well do not usually need additional fertilizer. You will see the most benefits using Osmocote if your soil is lacking in nutrients, the trees or shrubs are young or they are showing pale foliage or slow growth due to lack of nutrition.   Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
