Yes, the agricultural fleece will help to prevent the cabbage moth from laying eggs onto your greens. I recommend you wait and not replant until next spring. Instead till or turn the soil in this area exposing the larvae and eggs and the winter cold should clean up any remaining insects. Seeds are cheap so why not try a second crop of collard greens after you turn the soil and leave it empty for two weeks this summer.
