Marianne's Response
Barb-question
When I moved into this house I had Carmin Brilliant Crocosmia. It bloomed a lot and was so pretty. However, the clump was quite large so I divided it. It has not bloomed this year, neither has the clump that I did not disturb.
Any suggestions?

Relax. The corms were disturbed and still in the pouting stage but I bet you'll get blooms this summer just later than usual. If not, wait until next summer when the corms have had a chance to settle in and grow larger. You'll be rewarded with a crock full of crocosmia. This sun-loving perennial is long lived and drought resistant but it does need good drainage like all bulbs.
