Are the leaves dark green? This could be a sign of too much nitrogen or even too much shade. Use a complete fertilizer like Osmocote that has a balanced mix of nitrogen for leaf growth but also potassium and phosphorous for roots and fruit. Manures are great for improving the soil, but they are often high in nitrogen and lacking in the nutrients needed for fruit production.
