Becl’s Question
We had a horrible wind storm last week. Trees are down all over town. Unfortunately my casualty was a hardy hibiscus. The tall stems were broken off at the ground. Due to the fact the stems were fully grown and beginning to bud, do you think the plant will survive? There is no foliage left at all. Thank you.

Yes! I would place a bet (if I was a gambler that is) that your hibiscus is not gone with the wind. The roots are fine and you should see a new plant sprouting from the ground soon. Too bad trees can't do the same. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
