Marianne's Response
The most common reason for a bud less Bee Balm is lack of sun. This heat lover needs 5 to 6 hours of sunshine a day. If your plant is growing in full sun and still won't bloom then try fertilizing with an all purpose complete fertilizer such as Osmocote Plus. If you still don't get results then into the compost pile it must go. Some plants just disappoint and life is too short to put up with unhappy plants. If you wanted this perennial to attract more bees to your garden I suggest adding lavender or sedum 'Autumn Joy' to your garden as a bee loving substitute. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
