How to care for a Crape Jasmine
Can anyone tell me what this is and what kind of care it needs? A customer gave my husband a leaf stuck in dirt about a year ago. This is my second winter with it in the house. In the past two months while it has grown about 2 feet. I’m crazy about it, but don’t know what it is. It has never flowered, but a friend said it only bloomed at night. If that helps?

I suspect your mystery plant is a tropical Crape Jasmine also called a Paper Gardenia with the Botanical name of Tabernaemontana. It turns into a medium to large shrub known for glossy leaves and pure white blooms that are fragrant at night. Sounds like you have a location that it likes so continue to give it room to grow and you should see some flower buds when it is three years old.
Keep Growing,
