Marianne's Response
beverlysee-question
Hi again, I have another question. I have two heathers (don’t know their names), they didn’t bloom this year. I don’t know when is the proper time to prune them, and when I do, how far down do I cut?
Thankyou.

Pruning after blooming is the general rule but you can prune those heather in half right now if you live in a mild winter climate. Otherwise, wait until after they bloom in the spring and then shear them back by one half. Heathers love haircuts and look much better with a crew cut.
Keep growing,
