How much Nitrogen do fig trees need?

I wondering if the nitrogen content, 14%, is too high for two year old fig trees.

I think your fig trees would be fine with nitrogen that high as long as you use a slow release plant food like Osmocote that will not burn the leaves with a quick release of nitrogen. The coating on the fertilizer makes sure the nutrients are released slowly as the plants need the nitrogen. Just follow the dosage recommended on the label. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
