Marianne's Response

bobbievon’s Question

I have some peas from my garden that I just picked. Can I replant them (out of the pods) for new plants or do I need to dry them out first?

Marianne's Response

You need to dry out the peas from the pod and replant in the spring. You should be warned however that modern vegetables are often hybrids of different types of peas that combine the best qualities of both parents. The peas that sprout from saved seeds may not \"breed true\" or be just like the parent plant. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
