What’s eating my rose bushes?
I do not see any beetles on my rose bushes or the viburnum bushes, but something is skeletonizing the leaves completely. What is it?

There are several other insects that will do this type of damage and some like thrips are too small to be seen. Use BT or Bacillius thuringiensis as a spray being sure to aim at the undersides of the leaves. If the plants are severely damaged such as more than half of the foliage is gone resort to a pyrthrum spray. In the fall clean up all fallen leaves so the invaders cannot reinfect the plants.
