brianinoly’s Question

How do I prune pond plants that I over wintered in my shop? They are Cyperus “Nile Princess” I got then last year and they are in one gallon pots that have been in water throughout the winter.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Brian

Spring is a good time of year to divide you water plants if you see that new off shoots have formed. You divide them in much the same way as other perennials using a knife to separate the plants. You can also just clip off any old or brown foliage and allow the plants to grow another year in the same container. Keep growing, Marianne Binetti
